DWI 30 Year Anniversary March for Water

To celebrate the DWI’s 30 year anniversary, we will be raising money, and taking part in WaterAid’s, “March for Water event.” This will involve staff from the DWI walking 6km, carrying water, to highlight the average distance that 1 in 9 people around the world have to walk to get a drink of water. They often have no choice but to make long, tiring and often dangerous journey’s to remote water sources, and then haul the water back home. Our walk will finish in a local school, where a presentation will be given to school children on the subject.
